White, 1.13% African American, 0.26% Native American, 1.67% Asian, 0.04%
Pacific Islander, 0.55% from other races, and 2.28% from two or more races.

There are 5,364 households out of which 27.2% have children under the age of
18 living with them, 37.8% are married couples living together, 12.8% have a
woman whose husband does not live with her, and 46.3% are non-families.
37.8% of all households are made up of individuals and 13.3% have someone
living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is
2.15 and the average family size is 2.84.
In the town the population is spread out with 22.3% under the age of 18,
