Geography
Kaanapali is located at 20°56'5" North, 156°40'46" West (20.934820,

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of
14.8 km˛ (5.7 mi˛). 12.6 km˛ (4.9 mi˛) of it is land and 2.2 km˛ (0.9 mi˛)
of it is water. The total area is 15.03% water.
Demographics
As of the census of 2000, there are 1,375 people, 537 households, and 380
families residing in the town. The population density is 109.2/km˛ (282.8/mi˛).

The racial makeup of the town is 80.07% White, 0.95% African American, 0.15%
