| Where are bus
stations in Milan located ? |
| You must
purchase your ticket before you get on the bus. Upon boarding you'll see
a (usually yellow) time clock. To validate your ticket, you must insert
it in the time clock. You can ride the bus and transfer to other buses
an unlimited number of times for 75 minutes on one ticket. You don't
need to revalidate your ticket each time you transfer. |

| Where are train
stations in Milan located ? |
| A sign with a
large red M indicates metro stops. There are three interconnecting lines:
MM1, the red line; MM2, the green line; and MM3, the yellow line. (There
is also an underground railway connector that links the three metro
lines, from MM1 P.ta Venezia, to MM3 Repbblica, to MM2 Garibaldi.) At
the bottom of the steps you'll find a newsstand or machine from which
you purchase a ticket. Insert your ticket into the time clock at the
turnstiles and go through the turnstiles. You can ride the metro system
for 75 minutes from the time you first enter the system, and you can
even transfer to a bus on the same ticket provided you complete your bus
ride within the 75 minutes. (The opposite is not true. If you take a bus
first, you must insert a new ticket at the Metro turnstile, regardless
of how much time has passed.) |
